A Success Story

Agritech was founded by Lou Gagliardi in 1987 as an irrigation supply enterprise servicing the local community of Waikerie. Since 1987 Agritech has grown into a leading and award winning irrigation design and installation business with a list of impressive and successful projects known throughout Australia. 

During 2007, Alan Hillier joined the team at Agritech, having not only run a successful citrus and wine grape orchard business for over 25 years, but also gaining skills in the wider irrigation industry. Over the 25 years Alan had been a loyal customer of Agritech and due to a need to understand irrigation concepts had found Lou a willing teacher.

In July 2008 Alan and his wife Virginia purchased Agritech from Lou on his retirement. Agritech has been re- invigorated and reset in the direction of a business providing "Complete Water Solutions".

Alan's aim is to create a local familly business, employing locals and providing solutions to the Domestic, Irrigation and Waste Water industries, utilising the latest technology to achieve the best result.

Now part of the national group of Irrigear Australia, Irrigear Waikerie (Agritech Irrigation) can see you through your next project - big or small!

Agritech is certainly not a huge operation but we have proven that we are big enough to have the confidence of many of Australia's leading producer's such as Australian Vintage, Yalumba Vineyards, Comit Farm and Oakville Potatoes  to name only a few.

Agritech uses the latest computerised irrigation design systems to provide you with cost effective solutions to suit your specific needs. 

In addition to a comprehensive and well stocked retail irrigation showroom, Agritech has their own manufacturing division specialising in custom designed and fabricated stainless steel irrigation components and pump refurbishment's.

Agritech's installation division includes a wide range of digging and installation equipment to meet the challenges of any terrain and soil condition.

Agritech's clear focus on technology extends to state of the art field control systems with remote access computerised telemetry which allows you to control your irrigation system from anywhere in the world.
